Diagnostic interview

 

Whatever the reasons you consult a psychologist, the first meetings always aim to get to know you better. During the first sessions, a complete, clear and precise diagnostic assessment is drawn up in order to "put words on the trouble". It is from this diagnosis that a non-medical treatment can be offered to you.

 

Diagnostic interview is usually done by questioning but can also rely on psychometric and / or projective scales and tests to better identify your difficulties. The tests are frequently used in children, adolescents ("IQ TEST") and in the elderly (cognitive and memory tests).

 

It is quite possible to consult a clinical psychologist only for a diagnostic opinion. Only a few sessions will be necessary.

 

Rates : 

• Establishment of a diagnosis (without psychotherapy): from 80 to 150 euros, depending on the number of sessions*.

• Cognitive and mnesic assessment (detection of neurodegenerative pathology, stage of advancement, recommendations): 250 to 300 euros*.

• Cognitive tests ("IQ" with WISC V): from 350 euros*.
  * Rates in the office or in Monaco and the department 06 within a limit of 30 km. Beyond, a kilometer package can be applied.

 

 

Psychothérapy

 

After establishing a precise diagnosis, the clinical psychologist indicates, if necessary, a psychotherapy adapted to your problem. If the psychologist is also a psychotherapist, he can do this therapy himself.

 

Depending on your difficulties, your wishes and your desire to invest, I will always propose targeted psychotherapy: preferably short therapies (CBT and Mindfulness for anxiety disorders, for example), supportive therapies (for difficulties to face), possibly person-centered / humanistic / existential therapies (for decision support, for example), cognitive and behavioral systemic therapies (for the couple), so-called "mediated" therapies (art- therapy, for example) or cognitive and behavioral psycho-education therapies for children. For a personal support, a 3rd generation coaching (Personal Chief Happiness Officer - CHO) can also be indicated to you. 

 

Tarifs : 

• Individual psychotherapy session or for couple (1 hour): 80 euros (60 euros for children)*.

• Group psychotherapy session (1 hour): 60 euros*.

• Active coaching session - Personal CHO (1 hour and 30 minutes): 100 euros*

Elderly

 

In the elderly, after the establishment of a complete cognitive, mnesic and psychopathological assessment, care may be desirable and beneficial from the first sessions. These care are always adapted to each person, his level of autonomy and his life choices. The following care can be proposed: individual memory and cognitive workshops, reminiscence therapies (reminiscence workshop, musical mnemotherapy ...), an approach based on sensorality (snoezelen), support for maintaining autonomy and maintaining home (in connection with a medical team), assistance for placement in retirement homes, or classic psychotherapy adapted to the elderly.

In people who have suffered a neurological disorder (stroke, AIT ...), treatments for re-education are often recommended. They allow a recovery or a maintenance of the residual memory capacities (episodic memory, work memory, prospective memory, semantic memory, autobiographical memory, procedural memory), a development of the executive functions (attention, mental flexibility, mental inhibition, reasoning, problem solving, sensitivity to interference ...) and instrumental functions (language...). The care consist in stimulation, targeted exercises, compensatory strategies.

• Individual care session (cognitive and mnesic rehabilitation) in the place of life (1 hour): 80 euros*.

• Individual psychotherapy session adapted to the elderly (1 hour): 80 euros*.

• Interventions for home support (setting up helpers, teams ...): 250 to 300 euros, depending on the number of interventions required*.

• Interventions for placement in institutions (choice of structure, constitution of files, entry, support): 250 to 300 euros, depending on the number of interventions required*.
